Inspired by the nickname "Clockwork Orange", given to the Netherlands after their appearance at the 1974 World Cup. A team that included Cruyff, Neeskens and Rep, who started playing a brand of tactical football that became known as "Total Football". Cruyff himself went on to further develop and implement this footballing methodology throughout his managerial career.
